Sergio Méndez is a system engineer and professor of operating systems, software engineering, and AI at San Carlos of Guatemala. Sergio is also founder and cloud architect at Cloud Society, an online social network to join tech communities. He’s currently working doing DevOps at Yalo. About communities, he is involved in the CNCF Community and is promoting students into the CNCF Ecosystem with CNCF Students group, and host Meetups at Cloud Native Guatemala. Recently he held KCD Guatemala with his students. He was a speaker at KubeconEU 2020-2021, ServiceMeshConEU 2021 and also a Linkerd Ambassador. He is also writing about about Edge Computing and K3s with Packt publisher.
